Grace Lutheran School is a not-for-profit ministry of Grace Lutheran Church. Both the church and school staff recognize the richness in the many different ways that faith can be practiced and expressed. As a Christian preschool, your child will be taught Christian beliefs appropriate for their age level. They will read Bible stories, do schoolwork with a Christian theme, learn Christian songs and hear Christian music. They will be prayed with and prayed for. The staff of Grace Lutheran School support and teach basic human values such as kindness, generosity, fairness, and mercy all traits necessary for living together in a civilized society. Once a week, the older children will go next door to the chapel will they will experience a short service led by the Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church.
Grace Lutheran Church community takes an active interest in the school. As part of the whole campus ministry, three GLS families are prayed for (by last name only) during the congregational prayers in each Grace Lutheran Church Sunday service. The newest infant enrollees receive a baby blanket created by the Grace Lutheran Quilters group, and Grace church members can be seen assisting at various school events.
At Grace Lutheran School, your child will be greeted at the door by one or more of our friendly staff where they will often receive their first hug of the day. Upon arrival to their classroom, they will be welcomed by their teachers and soon receive their second hug of the day. Our Christian teachers will nurture your child at all levels of development. Your child will be loved and cared for. You will notice the difference.
