OVERVIEW

All of the youngest infants are welcomed to Grace Lutheran School with a soft baby blanket made by the Grace Lutheran Church Quilters group. A fully trained staff provides that special nurturing care so important at this stage of life. Infants will eat, sleep, and play in a clean and sanitized environment. Bottle-fed babies are held and rocked and those eating solid food are safely strapped into toddler feeding tables where they are assisted in learning to feed themselves. Children get restful sleep in state-approved cribs in a dimly lit, quiet environment, where soothing music is played. The older infants are gradually transitioned from cribs to mats, preparing them for the Toddler class.

Several times a day the young ones board the Big Red Buggies for a stroll around the property.

In inclement weather the large facility can easily accommodate the buggies in the many wide halls or in the full-sized gym.
