Welcome to Grace Lutheran School of Conroe’s Infant Program, where we offer a nurturing and supportive environment for children aged 6 weeks to 17 months old. Our program is designed to provide a safe and stimulating space for infants to explore and learn through play, interaction, and guided activities.

Our experienced and caring teachers are dedicated to creating a warm and loving atmosphere where each child can develop at their own pace. We understand that every infant is unique and has their own individual needs, which is why we offer individualized attention and care to ensure that each child is happy, healthy, and thriving.

At Grace Lutheran School of Conroe, we prioritize building strong relationships with families and strive to create a community where everyone feels welcome and supported. We invite you to come and visit us to see firsthand what makes our Infant Program so special.

Our program features a curriculum that is designed to promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. We focus on providing a variety of sensory experiences, including music, movement, and exploration of different textures and materials. We also encourage communication and language development through reading, singing, and conversation.

Grace Lutheran School of Conroe’s Infant Program

All of the youngest infants are welcomed to Grace Lutheran School with a soft baby blanket made by the Grace Lutheran Church Quilters group. A fully trained staff provides that special nurturing care so important at this stage of life. Infants will eat, sleep, and play in a clean and sanitized environment. Bottle-fed babies are held and rocked and those eating solid food are safely strapped into toddler feeding tables where they are assisted in learning to feed themselves. Children get restful sleep in state-approved cribs in a dimly lit, quiet environment, where soothing music is played. The older infants are gradually transitioned from cribs to mats, preparing them for the Toddler class.

Several times a day the young ones board the Big Red Buggies for a stroll around the property.

In inclement weather the large facility can easily accommodate the buggies in the many wide halls or in the full-sized gym.

Grace Lutheran School of Conroe’s Infant

Infants are never too young to learn and learning takes place right away in this loving environment.

  • Social and emotional development occurs as compassionate staff respond quickly to the infant’s needs.

  • Spacious play areas promote movement and physical development.

  • Specialized toys encourage gross motor skills.

  • Gentle and loving communication and repetitive speech reinforce language development.

  • American sign language is employed to help non-verbal infants begin to communicate.

Weekly lesson plans focus on the various milestones for infants and teachers confer with parents on their child’s progress.
